How to learn SEO and digital marketing

Hi guys, I’m trying to learn SEO and digital marketing, but it’s not easy to find a good learning path. I’m currently following a course on Lynda.com and after that, I want to get my certificate on google digital garage platform.

I understand the theory part of the SEO but I don’t really understand how to implement it.

Does someone know what and how I should learn, what the newest SEO trends are, etc?

You should create a website and try and learn as you go. This was how I got into the field in 2011

You should read SEO and Digital marketing realted Blogs like: Search engine Land and Search engine Journal, Shout me loud. Also you should follow Neil Patel blogs. He is sharing informative ideas about digital marketing. Not only read and implement it.
