Which degree path to take?
I am currently enrolled in a community college with my major technically declared as AS in General Studies. My plan was to pursue that, transfer to a university, and get a bachelor’s in IT. The AS in general studies would cover all of my pre-reqs and I would go straight to my IT classes. Unfortunately, the bachelor’s degree is Bachelor’s of Professional Studies with a concentration in IT. Looking at the curriculum, it barely has any IT classes. Would it be better to continue this path of change my current major to AAS in Information Systems/Systems Analyst Path. Also with the AAS, I will be getting a handful of certifications.
